The Rooke Soft AFO helps to:

Maintains dorsiflexion
Provide full plantar support for the affected limb
Prevent and treat heel ulcers
Natural warmth creates the vasodilatation cascade to enhance skin perfusion
Provide added protection against external irritation

Foam covered malleable aluminum splint
Specially fabricated slot for aluminum splint*
Specially designed heel “pocket” for optimum offloading of the heel

Ability to redirect SCD tubes off of the foot

By removing the aluminum splint, it allows for the boot to be used independent of the AFO

The Rooke Vascular Boot naturally warms the limb while completely offloading the heel and has been used by surgeons, interventionalists, and wound care specialists for close to 35 years. This healing boot is built to provide total heel offloading and redistribution of pressure along the calf to help treat and prevent lower-extremity skin breakdown.
